Audio ~ Anomaly (Rhett Armistead) BIO

To start off I would just like to thank everyone for coming here,and sharing this event with me. It seems like a lifetime and it nearly is ,from my beginnings playing in rock bands and progressive/alternative multi member groupes way back in the 70s. It's awesome to have been a part of the progress of electronics and the way that it has changed the face of music forever.

I must admit I am guilty of still holding on to the Old technology, while definitely embracing the New with open arms, this I guess from being involved with the electronics audio/music industry from both sides of the field as technician and musician.

It's been a long time coming I guess a lot of water under the bridge many different events happening over many years. Broadcast television was a large feature of my life from 1985 till early 2005 when I worked freelance as an audio engineer with the majority of the television networks primarily queensland-based, also working on the side with my own business Tonix Electronics doing electronic repair and servicing contracts with some of the big electronic suppliers in Australia.

Around mid-1990s I had completed my first studio underneath a new home at Kallangur Queensland where I started working on my own material and also doing voice overs under contract for my clients.

At the same time I started collecting synthesizers and various other audio and recording equipment to enhance my production environment, some of these units I still have and use today.
